- Intercultural Seminar -

Deutsch für Architekten

Living in a foreign country offers both: new a opportunities and challenges. The question is how and where to start in order to quickly adopt to the new workplace and lifestyle.

This seminar will provide you the practical information about Germany as well as tips for the every day life. Furthermore you will learn and train typical situations in business and private environment.

This way you will be well prepared to get the most out of your life in Germany. Also we help you to deal with tricky situations and to avoid misunderstandings in the communication and behaviours with Germans.

For this seminar we have planned several dates. However, if you will book it in a closed group or as an individual training we are prepared for a flexible schedule.

Aim
  • Confidence during dealings in private and business situations

Level of language ability

Prerequisites: solid oral and written German
Corresponding to at least Treffpunkt Level B1

Six instructional units of 45 minutes each

Part I:         Every day life in Germany
                   - preparation, arriving
                   - shopping
                   - authorities, public buildings
                   - typical situations and behaviours

Part II:       Country information Germany
                  - history, geography
                  - administration, economy
                  - popular sites, leisure tips

Part III      German in the office
                  - greetings and introductions
                  - telephoning
                  - business attire
                  - small talk
