2011 ended on a very positive note for Sprachinstitut TREFFPUNKT. Many successfully taken TestDaF exams and a passed Goethe C1 exam of students contributed to this, as did successes in job applications which was supported by the business seminar "Successful Job Applications in GermanySuccessful Job Applications in Germany" Here are a few photos on the last day of the certificate presentation and fare well party:

Learning German via Skype

This is a question recently asked by a student who was interested in a Skype German courses. "Of course you can" was our answer. Basically, the students determine the priorities and topics of their private lessons. This is the great advantage in comparison to other types of language instruction. From experience, a mix of text and grammar works very well for online tuition, too. We recommend that you tell us what your preferences are when booking your course!

Carnival in Germany 2012
The "topsy-turvy days" of German carnival are drawing nearer again. From Maundy Thursday, 16 February, with its "Weiberfastnacht" until Shrove Tuesday, a cheerful, relaxed party atmosphere will permeate many German cities. At the language school we will celebrate carnival, too, and, of course, we will participate in the carnival parade which on Mardi Gras will move through the town centre of Bamberg.
