In many universities around the world it is possible to obtain academic credits for German courses taken abroad. Our study abroad programme enables students to earn credits for their German language courses at their regular university. In general there are basically two options to receive credits for your TREFF PUNKT course: |
Option 1: Your University accepts credits from TREFF PUNKT directly We regularly work with universities in the US and Great Britain that
grant credit for our courses. The number of credits given depend on
the learning progress based on the level
system of "Common
European Framework of the European Council" In our experience, each university requires different
documentation for their creditation process. This can
include a course syllabus, a record of total hours taken,
teacher evaluations, attendance reports, curriculum covered,

Option 2: Transfer Credits from Samford University to your Home InstitutionSamford University has come to Sprachinstitut TREFF PUNKT since the summer of 2005. If students choose to participate in the annual "Samford-in-Germany" program, it is possible to get up to 8 hours of credit in either beginning, intermediate or advanced German.
