- Teaching contents:
Even distribution of grammar, speaking, listening, reading
comprehension and writing skills in the levels
A1 to B2. However, stronger focus on vocabulary
extension and conversation with less grammar from
level C1 onwards.
- The more lessons you book, the more homework you
will have. So when
choosing a course, please consider the amount of lessons
and note that you will have to spend about
2 to3 hours on homework on
average every

Intensive course

Choose this course if you would like a balance between intensive instruction
in the morning and free time in the late afternoon. This course will
allow you enough time to participate in all our afternoon and evening
activities. Allow 2 hours for course preparation and homework.

Intensive Plus course
- 20 lessons
per
week in a group Plus
2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or more one-to-one
lessons.
Choose this course if you would like intensive group
instruction in the morning but would also like to
take advantage of individual training. Your course
instructor can address your individual needs, questions
and difficulties in the 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or more additional
individual lessons per week. You choose the topics
of your specially tailored course from pronunciation
training to reading specific professional texts. This
course also allows you to take part in several afternoon
and evening activities.
Allow up to 2 hours for course preparation and homework for your group
course in the morning and about 1 hour for every 2 one-to-one lessons
you take.

Content and skills focus in this course are adapted
to the exam content and are in line with the morning
class of the Intensive Plus course. You can expect
effective preparation in the course and at the end
you will be thoroughly prepared for all parts of
the exam i.e. grammar, expressiveness, writing skills,
listening and reading comprehension. In the additional
one-to-one lessons you will be able to deal with
those parts you want to repeat and gain more confidence.

Exam dates: about every 4 weeks for the
level A to C2.1 - we will give exact dates on enquiry.
The exam fees charged by the Goethe Institute depends
on the exam and ranges from EUR 70 to EUR 220. The exam location
is at any Goethe Institute .
- Goethe - Kleines
Deutsches Sprachdiplom (KDS) and Großes Deutsches
Sprachdiplom (GDS)
Exam dates: twice per year in April and November,
we will give exact dates on request
Exam fees charged by the Goethe Institute: EUR 220.
Exam location: Erlangen (30 minutes by train from
Bamberg) or Munich (1.5 hours by train from Bamberg.

TestDaF and onDaF
If you pass TestDaF then you can study at any German university.
It is an equivalent to the DSH, however with the advantage that it can
be taken 6 times per year and as often as you want. For more details

The onDaF is an online test which can be taken about twice per month and determines your command of German for the levels A2 to C1. Read more on www.ondaf.de
Super Intensive course
- 28 group lessons per week

Few participants and a lot of lessons mean that you will quickly achieve
your desired learning goal. The course is work-intensive but also very
efficient. You will still find time to participate in our leisure time
activities for contacts and communication, giving you further opportunities
to practice your German.

Individual training / One-to-One tuition
- Course description: This
course offers the most intensive method of language training. Here you
will learn German in a course tailored to your needs. You decide how
fast, intensive and how long the course will be. The course programme
and materials are organized according to your wishes and prerequisites.
In a personal interview we will decide on goals and method. You can
decide for yourself how many hours per day/week the course should be.
You may also choose evenings and weekends if that is your wish.
Of course you may also receive individual training in

Dual destination course:
Bamberg & Berlin
Our linked program "Bamberg & Berlin" will
make it possible that you will experience two highlights
of German history and culture at the same time while
attending a German language course.
Choose a German course of 2, 4 or 6 weeks and stay for
at least 1 week in one town and then travel on to the
next. Whether to start or complete your course in Bamberg
or Berlin will be up to you and your individual travelling
plans.
You book "Bamberg & Berlin" – a
package that also includes the accommodation either
in a private home or in a hotel. For

TopicClub Seminar
- Every course can be extended to a TopicClub
Seminar. TopicClubs are
specially designed classes catering to those interested
in a broad range of subjects. Experts will speak and discuss with you specific subjects on 2 evenings of 3 lessons each, 6 in total in a mini group.
- You will be familiarized with your chosen subject, local and national
idiosyncrasies and the corresponding specialized
vocabulary. Visits to relevant
company sites are also an option.
- To get the most out of the seminars you should have
a fairly good command of German (from
level B1).
- The fee per
TopicClub ranges from EUR 99
to EUR 199 per person. The seminar takes place starting with
a minimum of 4 participants (if not stated otherwise).
- In the economically related seminars you will receive comprehensive
documentation material which is included in the fee. Part of the material
will also be provided on a disc.
