Exterior views of the language school

A frontal view of the language institute’s Art Nouveau façade, taken from the other side of the Kettenbrücke coming into the centre of Bamberg.

The institute is located on the first and second floors and there are 5 rooms on each floor.

Incidentally, the TREFF PUNKT language institute is also a TestDaF Centre.

The large semi-circular windows so typical of Art Nouveau architecture flood the classrooms with light.

1st Floor

The reception is situated here and 5 teaching rooms.

Here Alexandra von Rohr und Director of Studies, Armin Gertz, will welcome you, answer any questions and meet with you for further discussion.

Room 1

On the walls you will see the original illustrations for "Business Etiquette in Germany", a book written by TREFF PUNKT Seminar director Joachim Graff.

Room 2

A slightly smaller, very light room. Ideal for small groups and individual lessons.

Room 3

With its 3 large windows, this room offers the best view of the Kettenbrücke and the Main-Danube Canal.

Room 4

A large room flooded with light and equipped with conference tables. Often used for presentations as part of the course in business German.

Room 5

Room 5 is at the end of the corridor, equipped with an attractive old school chalkboard.

From the first floor, the spiral staircase leads up to the upper level.

In front of the main 2nd floor area, a quote from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe:

Welcome to the 2nd floor! – The entrance area

The PCs with free internet access (DSL) are situated here. Nena laughs out from the picture.

The singer became internationally well-known with her song "99 Luftballons".

Behind the PCs is a spacious area.

Erich Fried’s poem 'Über die Liebe' is inscribed on the wall.

Room 7

Small but attractive – an ideal room for small groups and individual lessons.

Room 8

A large, airy room for motivating group lessons.

Room 9:

The lounge for our students. Full of atmosphere and ideal for private study, watching films, playing music or just relaxing. It contains sofas, tables, a video and DVD player, a TV, a piano and a guitar.
