We are always asked if it is possible to apply for a grant or
scholarship when attending our courses. The following are possible sources
of income, but in the end whether you receive financial support depends
on your personal situation. Basically you have to differentiate between
3 grant suppliers.
- Learning German to enroll at a German university -> in this
case get in touch with your target university.
- Scholarships -> they are offered by various organisations,
but you need to look into that in your country. Begabtenförderung.de gives
you a comprehensive overview of German grant suppliers.
- ERASMUS-Programme - a European grant.
- Financial support of certain target groups (for example, "people"
from Eastern Germany).
Above all it is important that you become active and ask around about
which authorities provide grants.
