Arrival at TREFF PUNKT: The first day

When?	Who?	Program?
09:00	director teacher new students	A warm welcome to TREFF PUNKT ! First we introduce you to our course and leisure program. Based on the placement test* you will be assigned to the appropriate course level and we will answer any questions. * you will have finalized this online after your course registration. (note: it is not our free online test).
10:30	all	break - first get together
11:00	teacher all students	classes for all
12:30	all	end of classes - lunchtime
12:50	director teacher students	City walk for practical orientation: Where are the super markets, book shops, library, the internet cafés, the university, the post office, the fruit and vegetable market... ?
13:30	director teacher students	lunch together in a traditional restaurant
15:30	teacher some students	afternoon classes

IMPORTANT: Don't forget to inform your family and friends about your arrival in Bamberg! They will almost certainly be waiting for a message from you ;-). If you would like to write an email, you are welcome to do it at school. There are three PC's with high-speed connection available free of charge.

The typical weekly program at TREFF PUNKT

Monday to Friday	- 09:00 to 12:30: classes with a break of 30 minutes (10:30 - 11:00) - optional: afternoon classes and evening seminars
Monday	joining lunch with the director and teachers
Tuesday	video afternoon - watching a well-know German film
Wednesday	city walks in Bamberg with varying focus weekly
Thursday	"Stammtisch" (gathering) - we meet for a cheery get-together - students, teachers and friends from Bamberg
Friday	after the lessons farewell party and presentation of the TREFF PUNKT certificate to those students who are leaving.
Saturday / Sunday	weekend trip, or for those who want to stay in Bamberg or the surroundings, city walks, theatre, concerts...
